Homemade Ice Cream (for my later reference) Empty Homemade Ice Cream (for my later reference)

2 1/4 Cups sugar
1/4 + 2 Tbs Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
5 cups milk
4 eggs, beaten
4 cups whipping cream
2 Tbs vanilla

Combine sugar flour and salt in a saucepan, gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat or until thickened stirring constantly.

Gradually stir 1 cup hot mixture into eggs. SLOWLY add egg mixture into hot mixture stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute them pour into casserole dish and refrigerate 2 hours. Combine whipping cream and vanilla in a large bowl, combine with chilled mixture and freeze as directed.
